Mandate and Mission Statement
WHEREAS Canada is perhaps the richest and most culturally diverse nation in the world; and that in itself makes cosmopolitan Toronto the epicenter and hub of it all.
AND WHEREAS as far as Canada’s kaleidoscopic cultural tapestry is concerned, our Indian culture, heritage, customs and traditions add a great sparkle to this spectacular matrix.
AND WHEREAS according to Mark Twain, “India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legends, and the great grandmother of traditions.”
NOW THEREFORE we do solemnly pledge to share our incredibly rich Indian culture with all Canadians irrespective of race, color, creed, religious belief or national origin. For a wider coverage on India’s culture and norms, we invite you to visit this site: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_India.
